Our Story

The story of Global Sky Limited  began in 1996 when  the Daily Graphic published an article of a murdered family.  The nation was shocked as the  report revealed that wife and daughter were brutally raped.
Interestingly, the police had no evidence what so ever to follow the case up. This provoked a group of friends  to come together  to find a solution that can curb and help the police in the future in the area of surveillance.
The  main focus was on how to bring perpetrators to justice, however, we felt that the system lacked modern-day technology to tackle crimes. The security service provider industry in Ghana and in Africa market lacked innovation, so we decided to help bridge the gap between Africa’s way of tackling crime with the Western way which was more modernize.
One of the challenges we faced in our quest at the time was that majority of surveillance products available in the African market was manufactured for the Western world which means temperature-wise does not favour Africa’s climate, environment and its market.
Consumers did not get the full benefits associated with surveillance products so we decided to specialize,  design and manufacture products that was suitable to Africa’s climate and environment.
